Brain/Body Exercises

An exercise to help you connect the two lobes of your brain

The more body connections you develop, the more awake you are and the more energy can flow in your body.

Stand straight with your feet together.

Raise your right arm straight out in front of you at eye level.

  

Make a fist and then stick your thumb straight up.

Begin by slowly moving your arm in a figure eight on its side.

Visualize a figure eight on its side and then draw it with your arm keeping your thumb straight up at all times.



Track your thumb with your eyes. Never take your eyes from your thumb. Don’t move your head, just your eyes.

Your figure eight will be about 12’ long at first.

Then start making a bigger figure eight on its side and move your head slightly to track your thumb. Keep your eyes on your thumb.

Next start using your upper body and swing your arm wide in making the figure eight on its side. Track your thumb with your eyes at all times.



Now change arms and do the same routine with your left arm and thumb. You have now connected the two lobes of your brain! You are more awake.

If you feel nothing at first, don’t be alarmed. Just keep doing this several times throughout the day until you do begin to feel the new energetics and brightness of yourself. I do this exercise often during the day. It brightens me up and shifts me into a more energetic mode. I encourage you to make this a part of your daily new healthy habit.

Exercises to Connect your Brain with your Body

This is a simple exercise, yet very powerful. It will create a connection between your brain and your body causing a wonderful energy flow in your body. Remember the more you are connected within yourself, the more abundant, alive and healthy you are. The more you are in touch with yourself (present in your body) the more awake you are to live a daily life of high quality and abundant happiness. The more connected you are, the lighter and brighter you are. Do nothing and you will be subject to heaviness, hopelessness and victimhood and lots of good stories to prove yourself right. Are you paying too high a price to be right?

To feel more secure while doing this exercise, you can brace yourself against a wall so as not to lose your balance.

At the same time as you raise your left knee in front of you as high as you can, reach over to the side of your left knee with your right hand, touching the outer part of the knee with your hand.

  

You will feel a slight twist in your waist while doing this.

Then alternate, using your right knee and left hand.

Keep raising your knees as high as you can and keep slightly rotating at the waist to touch the outside of your knees with your hand.

Once you get used to this movement, stop and get a piece of regular 81/2" X 11" paper and draw a big black plus sign with a felt tip marker, or something that will leave a big dark mark. Both horizontal and vertical strokes should be about 6" long. Use a straight edge and rule to make sure the lines cross at right-angles and intersect at the mid point.



Tape this plus sign at eye level. Then stand about 10' away. Now steadily focus on the plus sign while doing the exercise over again. Do a set of twenty to begin with, and slowly work up to 30. Hold one of your arms out to your side shoulder height and have someone try and push your arm down by placing their hand over your outstretched hand.

Now take away the plus sign and do an exercise set. Have someone try and push your outstretched arm down to your side.

What is happening? Your arm is difficult to push down when you focus on the plus sign, and easy to push down when you don't. Try and figure this one out. If you feel a body rush while doing this exercise focusing on the plus sign, this is how it should be as you unblock your inner self and allow a new energy flow to happen between your body and brain.

This is such a great exercise to do during the day, and good for break time and refreshing body time, and excellent for uplifting thoughts and abundant creativity. You will discover new found joy oozing out of you. Our lives are meant to be full of joy!
